The San Diego Triathlon Classic is happy to offer a refund and transfer policy. We understand that life happens, however, we also have race logistics and equipment deadlines to meet. We will offer refunds and transfers according to the below policies and NO exceptions will be made.
All transfer requests (to next year’s race or to another participant) must be postmarked by August 6, 2014. There is a $25 processing fee for this service. After August 6th, no transfers will be processed regardless of the reason, without exception, no matter the circumstance. THE DEADLINE FOR TRANSFERS HAS PASSED.
Distance change requests must be postmarked by August 30, 2014. There is a $25 processing fee for distance changes. You will also be required to pay any increase of fee as a result of the change, based on whatever the race fee is at the time you request the change. If the change results in a lower fee, there will be no refund of the difference. After August 30, no distance changes will be processed regardless of the reason, without exception, no matter the circumstance. Please use this page to request a distance change, and the race directors will contact you with the appropriate form and instructions.
All cancellation and refund requests must be postmarked by August 1, 2014. There is a $45 processing fee for this service. Online fees are non-refundable. MILITARY DEPLOYMENT REFUND:
Active duty military members who are unable to participate because they are unexpectedly deployed may receive a refund, less a $15 processing fee. To qualify you must submit a copy of your official military orders along with this form by no later than August 25, 2014. No military deployment refunds will be processed after August 25, 2014. Please use this form to request a military deployment refund.
