The San Diego Triathlon Classic is happy to offer a refund and transfer policy.  We understand that life happens, however, we also have race logistics and equipment deadlines to meet.  We will offer refunds and transfers according to the policies on the Change/Refund page and NO exceptions will be made.

Best beer garden BY FAR of any race.  Craft beer (Stone Brewing Co. is our sponsor!) & Mimosas for those that don't drink beer. It's also on the finish line so you can watch the action if you're still in the beer garden.  San Diego is craft beer central, and we do it right!

The transition area is TRULY fair to everyone. Everyone has to run the same distance with or without there bike. There is no "best" spot to get an advantage over others.  It's also a GRASS transition area (who doesn't like that?!) it's  so nice on your feet.

The bike course is VERY scenic, challenging and you get to ride in places you can't normally ride (unless you're military).

The swim distance is VERY accurate.  It's a simple straight course with few turns, calm water in a sheltered bay.  In-the-water-start which keeps it from getting too rough.

GREAT race for spectators... you can actually walk along the swim to cheer on your friends, then the bike in/out is visible along with lap 1/2 on the run and the finish from the same spot.  Lots of people cheering, fun to watch/cheer.
